Tampa Bay Ponds & Rocks is a Tampa Bay retailer that specializes in backyard ponds and landscaping that features a natural look accentuating the environment of water, fish, pebbles and stones, and plant life that is adaptable to the Gulf Coast environment. COVID 19 has challenged sales for many especially brick and mortar retailers where physically challenged places have suffered in foot traffic and showroom sales.
Problem
Tampa Bay Ponds & Rocks had retained the services of a digital marketing team that was responsible for its SEO (search engine optimization) and PPC (pay per click) campaigns in order to improve the company’s online and brand recognition through increased traffic and sales conversions. Understanding the ultimate objectives was not difficult however the journey in the processes to get there posed to be harder to grasp as there is much in the industry that is not easy to understand, track, and quanitify from a results vantage point. Solution
Need SEO was brought onboard to do an in depth analysis of all of the SEO and PPC campaigns that were undertaken on the company’s behalf. Additionally, Need SEO was requested to come up with recommendations that coincided with the goals of the company while also articulating these to the agency while also reviewing all reports and activities that had been undertaken. Any Zoom meetings were done collectively whereby Need SEO would help to orchestrate the questions and issues on behalf of the company while also clarifying any points that needed explanations for the company’s principal.
Results
Over a two month period of time, specific requests were made to improve campaigns and methodologies that were given to the agency to implement. As such, the metrics and KPI’s have shown a drastic improvement in ROAS (return on ad spend) and conversion values. The organic results have shown a broader range of keywords and search terms for the company’s SERP (search engine results pages). Many of the meta data was reconstructed for each of the landing pages to better point to the relevance for Google and the search engines.
Need SEO also submitted a reconstruction of the PPC ads and its campaigns in order to achieve a higher conversion rate with an optimal budget spend.
